Because you cannot log in normally, you must use a Windows XP installation CD to access the system’s backend. Insert your Windows XP CD and restart your computer. Set your BIOS to boot from the CD-ROM.
When the “Welcome to Setup” screen appears, press R to enter the Recovery Console.
Select your Windows installation (usually 1) and enter the Administrator password (press Enter if it is blank). Step 2: Fix the Userinit.exe File
